The Northside Grizzlies bounced back from a tough loss to West Memphis on Friday with a win on Saturday.

Northside built a 35-16 lead at halftime as the Grizzlies went on to a 64-38 win against Van Buren in the Conway Classic.

Javion Releford led the Grizzlies (7-4) with 21 points, including making five 3-point baskets in the first half.

For the Pointers (4-6), Brayden Gilmore finished with 16 points and seven rebounds.

Both Northside and Van Buren will be off until Dec. 27, when both teams begin play at the Coca-Cola Classic at the Stubblefield Center on the UAFS campus.
