The Northside Grizzlies beat the North Little Rock Charging Wildcats on Wednesday to improve their 7A-Central record to 2-3.

Khaden Washington struck out seven and worked 6 2/3 innings for the victory. Joseph Mills got the final out for the save.

The Grizzlies took a 1-0 lead in the top of the third on Jackson Scrivner’s RBI. After North Little Rock tied the game with a run in their half of the third, the Grizzlies went back in front, 2-1, with a run in the sixth inning on Nate Hampton’s RBI.
